I'm a multidisciplinary designer who creates shared services, data-driven solutions, and authentic interactions.

I came to design with a background in GIS mapping and government data. This type of work allowed me to flex my creativity and strategic thinking strengths to innovate workflows and improve decision making through data-driven insights. It made me passionate about information accessibility and usefulness for stakeholders and excited to focus on the human aspect of technology solutions through design.
I then brought my existing consulting and project management skills to Austin Center for Design's interaction design and social entrepreneurship certificate program where I added user research, storytelling, product management, and lean development to my skillset. I also used human centered design skills to test and launch 2 businesses: ATX Fail Club and Placed Space.
I grew up in Austin, TX and graduated from UT Austin with a BA in Geography. Later, I moved to Chicago for a few years where I wore a winter coat that looked like a sleeping bag, found out that professional sports teams are a big deal, and met my husband. In my free time I enjoy trying new things and hanging out with my two sons and Great Pyr, Cass.
